Shilpa Daga, the principal architect and founder of Shilp Design Studio, is a dreamer. She strongly believes in the quote by David McCullough – “real success is finding your lifework in the work you love”

Being in a creative field is a treat for Shilpa. She believes that a well designed space becomes a physical and spiritual refuge from the stresses of our current lifestyles. For her, the space is like a result of pleasant dialogue of an architect’s urges and a client’s requirements.

Shilpa has a B.Arch degree from IIA and has been practising in this field since the last 20 years. She has a vast range of projects from residential to commercial under her belt and looks after each of them personally. Her work has been published in society magazine and a couple of other leading newspapers as well. She has been a finalist at the Design Quest competition held by Homedesign magazine.

She also believes that sharing what she has learned with the next generation makes her grow as well and so she simultaneously pursues her passion for teaching. She has been teaching since 20 years and  believes that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but it is a tool for  self learning and growth as well.
